As with the way that technology is changing, we never hear about new fax machines, the truth is we still need them for various documents that need to be forwarded on.
The new SP-NA640 from NEC has the uncommon ability to send documents from itself to a computer or a cellphone through email as an image file. It can also receive incoming email and print them out on paper also and can still be used as your run of the mill fax machine. A price has not yet been specified but it will be available later next month in Japan. For more info go to engadget
