Believe it or not, there are only 50 days to go until Christmas, and only 56 before the end of 2007!
So how are you approaching the Christmas period, and what plans do you have to keep your health intact through the inevitable feast of mince pies and turkey, and the odd tipple or two of sherry that lies ahead?
Think honestly about your current lifestyle for a moment: are your health habits the most effective way for you to take care of your body and keep it in optimum condition? Or are they sometimes causing you to feel lethargic and fatigued; to lack concentration at times or to feel anxious or irritable? Do you sometimes just “show up” and go through the motions at work, or when you are with friends and family, or are you fully engaged, giving 100%? Have you consciously done anything in the past week to make improvements to your health, and have you exercised at all? And do you actively think about the food you eat, and the effect it has on you?
At Champions Club, they are proposing a “pre-Christmas action plan” – a health and fitness program to see you safely through to the New Year, and avoiding the usual post-Christmas health hangover.
