New BlackBerry software package for smaller businesses

Research in Motion has released a BlackBerry software package for smaller businesses.
BlackBerry Professional Software package is designed for businesses with up to 30 wireless users.
BlackBerry Professional Software can be installed on the same server as a company’s e-mail application, such as Microsoft’s Exchange or IBM’s Lotus Domino server.
The Professional Software is available worldwide and will cost US$499 for five users or $849 for ten.
Small businesses and consumers accounted for half of the company’s new North American subscribers for the first time last quarter.
