Ron Paul
I know most of the web loves Ron Paul and we have covered a lot of news on him in the past with most of it being positive about Ron Paul, but I just find it hard to believe that Ron Paul could really make it to President of the US.

Most of the comments we get are from people who are backing Ron Paul, listening too many of his videos I love his fresh view on politics.

With my opinion of the world of politics being very controlled to the point that the public do not always get what they want, what’s your opinion?

Do you REALLY think Ron Paul could become President of the US?

    AREN’T YOU TIRED OF:
The war with Iraq and impending war with Iran?
Working long hours with no overtime and no benefits?
    Overtaxation?
The stranglehold on our civil liberties?
Hearing how we should be afraid of everything?
    Paying at the gas pump?
The list goes on and on.

    Ron Paul has never:
    voted to raise taxes.
    voted for an unbalanced budget.
voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
    voted to raise congressional pay.
    taken a government-paid junket.
voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Vote for Ron Paul to make America, AMERICA AGAIN!

Of course Ron Paul will win the presidency in 2008! No one else stands a chance! 4 million in one day baby!

I think he can win. His biggest hurdle is getting the GOP nomination. The general election will be a landslide victory for him because non of the Democratic front runners can argue his record or his position without looking like fools in their own party. He voted against going into IRAQ, Hillary didn’t. He voted against the latest funding for the War, Obama didn’t. He wants to keep us out of entangling military involvement in all these countries we’ve been meddling with for years. Edwards doesn’t he’s CFR. Paul wants to reduce the cost of health care by offering choices and competition into the market. All the Dems want is to make it look free, while sucking as much money as they can from the poor and middle class. So yes I really do think Ron Paul can win this thing. People just need to wake up from their fear and believe that the foundation this country was built upon will still work for them.

I’m Allen Boe and you can count my vote for Ron Paul. X

They say that every generation should have a revolution to be in touch with with themselves and their way of government.

ALL Americans treasure their freedom and their rights, no matter how far from actually knowing what that means, and how much they have grown up with facist governmental branches.

Ron Paul advocates the message of Freedom. THIS is OUR revolution. This is how people tell the government how far removed from it they are.

Our constitution tells us, that when we have bad government we must rise up and take it out. When the people realize that it is US who are the true power of the country, and NOT government the republic stands.

Ron Paul not only can win with his message, He WILL win. The country truly loves this man because he speaks truth for the American people. Truth always wins. People are waking up and realizing that government is only too eager to relieve the American citizens of their liberties and their freedoms. We are not a country of government rule and we never will be.

Last night RON PAUL made history. No other candidate can boast that. The money he raised shows just how much people support him. The money, all 4.2 million dollars came from regular people not corporate entities. Mitt Romney was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. His money comes from himself.

YES RON PAUL CAN WIN !

I’ve never said this before, but I’m already working on New Zealand and Australia to move out of this terrorist-government-run country if Ron Paul doesn’t win. We pay socialist taxes and get perpetual war. I may as well pay socialist taxes somewhere else.

Ron Paul not only has a big chance to win, he HAS to win, and the American People know this now.

I think we’re ready for a radical return to the principles that made this country first-world; I’ll put it this way: if you fail to vote for him in the primaries, we’re going to get someone who will bankrupt this joint post-haste and compel China to cash in their chips, effectively owning the land.

  7. Fortnighte says:

The very idea of “electability” is an interesting one, in that, WE THE PEOPLE determine someone’s “electability.”

It’s not the polls, or MSM or…whatever. It’s US!

The object of an election is to put into practice, at the governmental level, the ideals, that are consistent with the U.S. Constitution, I as a voter/taxpayer/American citizen deem beneficial to me personally and me corporately (being a legal citizen who cares deeply about my country).

It’s really quite simple: if enough of US decide that we want our government operating under such-and-such ideals, and we vote based on that desire (not the “lesser of two evils”), it can and does happen.

History, recent and not-so-recent, is replete with examples of “underdogs” triumphing: “Navy Beats Notre Dame, Ending 44-Year Losing Streak” (Nov. 3, 2007); “Appalachian State 34, No. 5 Michigan 32” in “one of the greatest upsets in college football history….” (Sept. 1, 2007); in early-2003, Joe Lieberman was leading the field for the Democratic Presidential nomination yet failed to win any primary; in early-1991 Bill Clinton was at 2% and went on to win the Presidency; in early-1975 Jimmy Carter was polling at 1% and went on to win the Presidency.

Would to God that we as citizens would approach the election process with the fervor, intensity and no-holds-barred approach that we can see in life’s other activities. I can assure you that, although some members of the Navy and Appalachian State teams had their doubts, they were encouraged to believe in themselves and to make the best possible effort they could, being unwilling to settle for anything less than that best effort.

No, no, NO, folks! Our job as U.S. citizens and patriots is not to “pick a winner,” which seems to me to be a view which trivializes our opportunity and responsibility as citizens. We’re to carefully consider all our options and then vote based on what is best for our COUNTRY!

One by one, as each of us decides that our vote IS important and that we are modern stewards of this great country, for which so many have given so much, THEN we begin to realize what we must do.

For me, that means expending whatever resources I can to make right what so many have worked so hard to destroy: my country…the United States of America. This great land deserves nothing less than the best I have to give. Can I truly call myself a “patriot” having done less than I could for this great country? What kind of American am I to see an opportunity to install into the White House a man with demonstrable and impeccable credentials and then do little to nothing to forward that effort?

No! I will have no part whatsoever in sitting idly by as others who, in the name of God or Money or “Compassionate Conservatism” or “Honor” or whatever do their utmost to denigrate and dissolve this great country…MY country! RON PAUL for President! Viva la Revolución!

P.S. If someone doesn’t like the way the U.S. was designed to operate and opposes a return to that way of thinking and governance, I politely suggest they find another country that DOES provide all the services and care they desire from their government. (“Paging a Mr. Robert Altman and Mr. Alec Baldwin…Final boarding call for any and all flights departing America….”) But that is NOT the way the U.S. was designed and I, and millions of others, intend on returning the U.S. to it’s roots…it’s Constitutional roots.

  8. William Wallace says:

It is refreshing to see my fellow Americans finally waking up to the circumstances they are in. Even if 1 billion dollars is raised for truth and freedom, even if every thinking non-robotic person wakes up and supports Dr. Paul, even if every MSM media scumbag article is challenged on the facts by hundreds of people who see the facts, IT WILL ALL BE FOR NOTHING if we do not take back the voting system to open transparent fairness.

Electronic voting machines are a part of the foundation of the establishment’s control. The tyrants can safely sit behind phony poll results as a screen for the fraud they will pull on election day. The establishment foresaw that a certain percentage of Americans would start to awaken as the tyranny became more obvious. Unless you want all your work to go down the drain you MUST do something about the electronic voting machines. The system can crank in any result they want.

50 lawsuits in the 50 sates are in the process of being filed that demand the decertification of electronic, paperless voting machines like the Diebold system. Please check out the votefraud org also VoteInSunshine and the National Clean Elections Lawsuit: “N-CEL” for more details about this vital subject. Time is short. I pray it is not too late for all of us!

But the news keeps telling me he can’t win, and that his supporters are just guys living in their mom’s basements?!
If you can’t trust NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX, who can you trust?

  10. Bob Moore says:

Yes. The tide is starting to turn. My business partner, a neocon and the last one I ever expected to give money to the Paul campaign, did give money yesterday. His rationale: he’s the only one that will drive both parties crazy when in office.

I don’t particularly like hard-core neocons but I see the moderates coming to their senses and recognizing that the only small government Republican that can beat any of the DEmocrats is Ron Paul. Once a few of them start to realize that Paul is a true patriot with the interests of the people at heart they will start converting and bringing their moderate friends with them. That will leave the hard-core neocon lunatics out in the cold where they belong.

Yes, Ron Paul with be President and I’m looking forward to the partisans on both side of the aisle trying to scramble for cover as they are each identified as treasonous bastards over the next eight years.
