Do you REALLY think Ron Paul could become President of the US?

I know most of the web loves Ron Paul and we have covered a lot of news on him in the past with most of it being positive about Ron Paul, but I just find it hard to believe that Ron Paul could really make it to President of the US.
Most of the comments we get are from people who are backing Ron Paul, listening too many of his videos I love his fresh view on politics.
With my opinion of the world of politics being very controlled to the point that the public do not always get what they want, what’s your opinion?

God i hope so. We need this guy in office if our country wants to stop sucking.
Yes he is the next president.
“Dumbed down by a failed education system?” That’s a laugh. The education system in America is extremely successful. It is doing exactly what it was designed to do: create a generation of people who cannot think for themselves.
Unfortunately for the “powers that be” the internet is here and we are finally able to not only find the truth, but we are able to find each other and organize.
Ron Paul consistently wins straw polls. He has now won 20 of the 40 polls, and 10 of the last 12. He has beaten every other GOP candidate far more often than they have beaten him in these polls. These straw polls are real people showing up at events to vote, they are the same people who will be showing up to vote in primaries.
Ron Paul has by far the largest all volunteer army of active supporters of any candidate. These volunteers have already raised his name recognition through thousands of events nationwide. Now they are poised to start the real nitty-griity work of door to door canvassing. We will be knocking of the door of every registered Republican asking them to vote for Ron Paul. The other candidates have to hire there help, Ron Paul inspires his.
Of course Ron Paul will win. There is no other Hope for America.
Ron Paul wins straw poll after straw poll and debate after debate. The media fear him.Lets face it Ron Paul is possibly the most popular candidate running. Just because the mainstream media doesn’t say so, that really doesn’t mean anything. Also skewed polls that only poll people with land line phones paint a very inaccurate picture…no wonder they keep getting things wrong and being surprised at his results. Ron Paul is the last of the traditional conservatives, the liberals Giuliani and Romney are simply fakes trying to sell non-conservatism. Ron Paul is going to win the Republican nomination…..every time I hear someone doubt him it just reaffirms in my mind that he has a very strong chance at being the next president. If he was not a threat then people would have no reason to fear or doubt him.

There is a very small group of people who run this country. Not the American people. And nearly all Americans believe this. Ron Paul’s popularity is a testament to this fact. Paul has never been a Washington insider - he won’t cooperate with the “machine”. No I don’t think Paul can be elected because Americans in general, are not smart enough to vote for such a man. I figure the smear campaign will really get going now.

How could he be any worse than what we’ve had in the last 7 years? Or any worse than McGiuliomneyson?
I Know that we need him if our country is to servive.I only wish that the people that have donated money would hit the media with the same numbers with the insistance of the truth about this man. Then More people will get out and vote for him.
We need a true American in office not a puppet. We also need a law disalowing the Lobbiest to Discontinue the problem that they have caused in the election process.
Haven’t you heard…Everyone is voting for Ron Paul! Where have you been? Time to Wake Up. No one is voting for the other guy. They can’t win! Spread the news!
Yes he WILL win. This is our last shot and we’re not about to let it go.
Short of rigging the election, the rest do not stand a chance at standing up to Ron Paul on an even playing field, i.e. without constant biased or non-existent reporting from the media and underhanded fund-raising schemes like the recent one by Fred Thompson (which is the only way he can raise money without begging for it from the 20 people who attend his “rallys”).
The only chance the military industrial complex and international bankers at the Federal Reserve have is to shoot him, and I don’t think they want a REAL revolution on their hands. More likely they will just concede defeat in the elections and hedge their bets in congress - they seem to be having plenty of success finding morons and traitors of the Constitution there.
