Apple, Microsoft, Nokia and Symbian not worried about Android relevance
A few companies have spoken out about the new Android Open Handset Alliance with Google, Palm was the first to blink but now some of the big boys have started to downplay the relevance of Android and these are Apple, Microsoft, Nokia and Symbian. Nokia who are the big boys in the cell phone industry has said that they do not perceive any danger from such an alliance.

Engadget Mobile has said that Microsoft went on the defensive as usual and stated “It really sounds that they are getting a whole bunch of people together to build a phone and that’s something we’ve been doing for five years.” However some companies has said that Android and the Open Handset Alliance is great for the industry and great for the consumers, and that is the most important thing.

I’ve just seen the Steve Ballmer (Microsoft CEO) and Nigel Clifford (Symbian CEO) speeches about Android (http://www.weshow.com/us/p/22898/microsofts_ceo_discusses_googles_smartphone) and they really don’t seem to be worried about Android, as we can see in their smiley and calm faces.
