After the whole Barbarella fiasco, Robert Rodriguez must be at a loose end? Apparently not as it’s been reported that Warner Bros is interested in having the Sin City director tackle the Clash of the Titans remake.
A while ago was reported that Raiders and Empire screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan and Travis Beacham (Killing on Carnival Row) were drafting a script. Then last month Sam Raimi was rumoured to have been offered the gig but nothing was officially announced.
So, with the studio on the hunt for a new director it seems plausible that Rodriguez could be settling into the directors chair. Rodriguez would be a great director for this movie, and it should be noted that before Barbarella the director was in talks at Warner Bros to help a live-action Jetsons movie or a big screen version of Land of the Lost. It’s likely Warner Bros would approach Rodriguez now his diary looks pretty empty.
So, if Rodriguez was to direct the Clash of The Titans remake who do you think would play Medusa…?
