Kylie Minogue Launches MySpace And Facebook Rival

Kylie Minogue has launched her own social networking site to rival MySpace and Facebook.

Kylie’s KylieKonnect site allows fans to create profiles, add images and keep up to date with the latest Kylie news.

Already on the site is a blog from the singer and some exclusive video footage.

Dan Duncombe who is the head of digital at the EMI label Parlophone, said that “Social networking via mobile has gained real momentum in the past year with increasing numbers of people accessing their accounts while on the move. However, this is a first for a global recording artist to create their own social-networking brand.”
