The brand Ferrari has been adorning items from laptops to baseball caps for years but now the Ferrari brand is going to take on Disneyland with the Ferrari’s very own theme park. You read right - A Ferrari Theme Park!
A Foundation Stone ceremony was held lately in Abu Dhabi to officially announce the start of the construction of one of the most hotly-anticipated and multi-dimensional theme parks in the world, The Ferrari Theme Park.

The park will be built on a whopping 62-acre plot and hopes to be open for visitors in the year 2009. The park will be built on a portion of desert on the island of Yas and will boast 24 attractions. These attractions include a 70-metre high G-Force Tower and the world’s first F1-branded twin rollercoaster ride.

Not only that, but the park will also have multi-format high tech theatres, driving schools, Ferrari automotive displays, participatory learning centres and roller coasters.
There will be a motor racing circuit which will be designed to host the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2009, posh hotels, apartments, villas, a golf course, marina and a range of restaurants and shops.
The whole project is set to cost a whopping £300 million. Would you go to a Ferrari Theme Park?
