Student Suspended For Halo 3 Drawings

How’s this for political correctness gone mad? Apparently drawings of Halo 3 are a terrorist threat - anyone see that coming? According to games site NFG, a 14-year-old boy was suspended from his school in Pittston, Pennsylvania for sketching images of Halo in a notebook.
The student from Wyoming Valley West Middle School was immediately suspended and the school called the police after the notebook was found containing ‘crudely drawn’ sketches of an assault rifle, a bomb and a map.
What do you make of all this? Were the school right to suspend the student?

I believe they had no right to suspend that kid video games are basicly interactive movies if you will if someone draws a picture of tom cruise will he get suspended for that ?
This sounds like the typical terrorist. Yesterday I was playing some guys on Construct and they had accents. Through their muffled words all I could understand was that they liked drawing, but they lacked drawing skills. Terrorists if I ever heard them, I bet he was one of them. Accents = terrorists, I bet this kid has an accent. His story and their story have too many similarities for me to write it off as a coincidence.
At first I thought this news was another one of those crazy stories you hear, but when I read the assault rifle, bomb and map bit, I don’t blame them for it.

Wow. That school is crapped up. They’re just drawings of guns, I drew some in school as well but they don’t care. They were not right, at all. They must live under a rock or something, not knowing about the world’s hugest video game.

I can not believe this. What the hell! I’ve drawn many pictures of halo 1,2,and3 specially drawing master chief was my best. But, that school unestly did not have the right to suspend him for mis conseption of thinking that he was planning to do something to the school when that isn’t even true. No one should be that addicted to a video game to be drawing pictures in school. WTF your done with school in about 4-5 hours. but i also dont think that he should be suspended, even tho he is addicted.

What should be frightening is that the school administration is NOT stupid enough to think this kids drawings were a threat. It is certain that when he said they were from Halo, they knew what he was talking about, and believed him. Still, they deliberately carried through with a meaningless punishment.
Their goal is to so exagerrate the response to any non-politically correct thought that it becomes impossible. This is the same reason schools are abolishing tag and competitive activities. Any expression of aggression is suppressed. The liberal education system is beginning the indoctrination that is in full force on college campuses: that no thought contrary to the prevailing leftist agenda can be expressed without receiving derision.
The left is fundamentally anti-military, anti-competitive, anti-strength in order to level the playing field for the unfit in our society and worldwide.
What hypocrisy that the same ideological group finds removal of government grants for obscene art and offense taken at sacreligious disruptions of church services to be horrendous abuses of free expression! But don’t try pointing out to these idiots that the kid should be free to express himself artistically; they are too lost in doublethink to comprehend it.
Now that he’s suspended, he’s going to play more Halo probably. Shouldn’t they be trying to stop that? Was the map of the school? If it was I could understand the treatment but if it was just some random map or a map of a multiplayer halo 3 map then this is rediculous.

what the hell. really? how could a school be so ignorant to think that people that like halo are terrorists?? what about other violent games?? what about games with ACTUAL terrorists in them? surely they don’t think that the covenant with come and bomb us!

yes most terrorists are problly stupid iq area but there not so slow as to draw their plans when there sitting in class. its just the average 14 year old noob that likes playing halo your way outta line man
