Earlier in the week we told you about Pixar’s 2D adventure with their 11 minute hand-drawn animated short titled, “Your Friend The Rat”. Three production stills from the film have now been released, check them out below.
The short follows Remy the rat (voiced by Patton Oswalt), and his brother Emile (Peter Sohn), who talk about the ‘history and behaviour of rats in an effort to persuade human viewers not to kill the ubiquitous rodents.” The short isn’t solely 2D animation. It features a mix of 3D computer animation, 2D line animation, live-action filmed segments and some stop-motion animation (another Pixar first)

I saw Your Friend The Rat,it was a cute Pixar short. My favorite parts were that Remy and Emile say some silly stuff and they sing.My favorite things that they said are:
Remy:So it’s been war!A war without end!
Emile:Feed us.That’s what you need.Leave some garbage out and we won’t bother you.Just leave the lid on top of the can.
Remy:Wait, wait. All wrong. This isn’t how we rehearsed it.It doesn’t go from rats and darkness to rats and death skulls. You forgot the flea. The rat didn’t cause the plague,
the flea caused the plague. The flea is the whole point.
Emile:Take it,and eat it.Can we sing the song now?(music plays)*We’ll follow you to Mar*.
I showed it to Alexa, and she liked it.When I go to Lake George,I’ll show it to Marissa.I saw Lifted,it was really funny,my favorite part is that Stu screams.
