Wow, this isn’t such a hard comparison to make. Well, it wouldn’t be when one of the artists is Michael Jackson.
I think Elvis was a good singer. And ofcourse, a good looking guy! But that’s all that is there to him. Nothing less, nothing more. He absolutely wasn’t the best at anything.
Michael Jackson, conversely, was/is simply the best at whatever he does. No one has done it better and possibly no one ever will. He outshines Elvis on every count.
And maybe yes, Elvis was better looking. But that’s all there’s to be satisfied with if you’re an Elvis fan. Cheers!

It is hard to be reasonable here but if you put all facts against each other,Elvis is a greater artist then Michael Jackson! period! Now let me put the fact on both sides here:
Elvis laid the groundwork for what a popidol/star should be in the 50’s despite that he was a blue collar countryboy who new nothing,really nothing of entertainment. Without knowing and just doing it by nature Elvis set the blueprint for all those who came after him.( by nature i mean his movements on stage, the way he looked, he dressed etc)
Michael Jackson did for his stage moves inspiration on the Fred Astaire/Gene Kelly Hollywood movies and modernized it in the 80’s. And the fact that Michael was a black man and with that blessed with natural dance moves and a look-a-like (Tom Parker)manager with a ponytail and a cigar(where have we seen that before)made him the total package of the 80’s.
They are both absolutely the best. Elvis was a phenomenon, music genius and of course extremely handsome. It’s not a matter of how many albums did each of them sell. But Michael Jackson is (to be precise “was”) maybe the best performer and singer ever lived. Only when he dies you will recognize his talents. Limited to one genre??? That’s crap. He sang since he was 8 years old with an absolutely fantastic voice. This guy can sing from opera to Hip Hop.

Michael Jackson is THE BEST singer wen it came to Pop and Elvis was only famous in The U.S. while Michael was an international superstar. He was famous at the age of 5 and he was married to Elvis Presleys daughter which means he must be the sexiest. People are sayin that younger elvis was sexier, but if you see Elvis wen he died. he was a FAT ASS beast. Yes, Michael had surgery but he still made the ladies go crazy. Wen it comes to his the most stylish, come on. Kids these days, we try to break dance, but Michael is the king, with his moonwalk, his gravity defyin moves and his creativity. What does Elvis have?? Sideburns? A leather jacket? Michael Jackson has his own still and he had more flareee!!! Hes Michael Jackson, winner of 5 Grammies. He has had more than 20 #1 songs! Hes been all over the world and if you ask ANYONE they kno who he is! Elvis was famous but Michael was and always will b a SUPERSTAR and King of POP and ppl are always sayin who is the King of Rock, Elvis Presley or The Beattles. Michael has no competition!!!!!

He was, is and will be the KING of pop always. But I agree that Elvis was better looking when he was younger.
As I said in my opinion MJ was the best artist ever.
However, Elvis Presley has definitely sold more albums than Michael.
