Hiro NBC Heroes
Many of you know the face above as Hiro from NBC’s Heroes, but this man is now also going to be known as the ambassador for OLPC (One Laptop per Child).

Hiro’s real name is Masi Oka and he majored in Math and Comp Sci at Brown University.

Masi Oka will promote the importance of the OLPC project with TV spots and other media; let’s hope he can bring a lot of attention to this great project that aims to “empower children with learning tools and Internet connectivity”.

Lately there has been a bit of bad press for the OLPC in the way of the price (first $100 a laptop and now more like $200).
