Gerry McCann Returns To Work: 1st time since Madeleine went missing
November 1, 2007 | Filed under News

It had to happen at some point and it looks like now is that time, Gerry McCann has returned to work for the first time since Madeleine McCann went missing.
Nearly six months since his daughter disappeared, the consultant cardiologist returned to work at Leicester’s Glenfield Hospital because he said that “the time was right”.
Gerry also went on to say “Unless Madeleine is found, we are not expecting any significant developments in the near future”.

Gerry McCann will not be seeing any patients immediately as he will start work first of all with admin and MRI scans, although he is expected to start seeing patients in around a month.
What’s your opinion on Gerry McCann going back to work now?

I think the McCanns have already shown us they can handle anything. After what he has been through I would say returning to a job he already knows is a fairly small deal. I have no doubt he will proceed as he should in this minor deal just as he’s proceeded as he should with the major deal of finding Madeleine. I wish the McCanns all the best.
This is totally unreal…I have followed this story intently from the beginning…with concern for the child and sympathy for the parents…but good grief…these reports on the parents every are ludicrous already !!!
Isn’t there any important news coming out of the U.K ?
