Leopard vs Vista
We have never had it so good when it comes to the latest technology in operating systems; Apple’s Mac OS X Leopard and Microsoft’s Windows Vista is feature rich and extremely advanced.

With all good products that compete with each other we got to have a comparison and Engadget has done an amazing job at this will a nice long chart comparing all the features of both OS’s.

The end score on their chart was Leopard: 46 and Vista: 41, which puts (in their opinion) Mac OS X Leopard as the better option.

Although you must note that the comparison they made does not include 3rd party software so we are just talking out of box features.

I think Microsoft has come a long way, but comparing Vista and Leopard, I think Leopard wins.

I not trust with MAC and Vista. I stay on Windows XP Media Center Edition with XP Professional inside for a long time. My computer has no problems so far! I am too excite to have XP Professional now. :-) I love Windows XP operating system, because XP is much strongest than Mac and Vista. New operating systems are not important. It will going very cheapest. Many people don’t care on both Operating Systems of Mac and Vista are high price. They stay on Windows XP for a long time. I don’t care on Mac and Vista. Go away from of both Operating System. I know both OS are not good right now. I and many people can’t afford higher price. Many people told that Companies are doing wrong to make price too higher. Please slash/unleash the higher price to low price soon and make people happy.

    Vista Home will be $40.00
Vista Home Premium will be $60.00
    Vista Buniess will be $80.00
    Vista Ultimate will be $100.00

Windows XP Home have about $40.00 dollars.
Windows XP Media Center Edition w/ XP Pro have about $50.00 dollars.
Windows Professional have about $60 dollars.

When I will buy new computer with Vista. I will delete Vista out and install my old Windows XP Media Center Edition w/ XP Pro on new computer and I will sell Windows Vista away. It will be no problems. I hear people complaint about Vista have very bad problems with hardwares and video card.

All prices will be cut off from high price to low price soon. We hate high prices. See that? I told you. :-)

From the comments you made, it seems like you don’t even know the Macintosh Platform to make a point across here, Guest86. Macintosh is comparable to Windows. Apple is comparable to Microsoft and Leopard is comparable to Vista.

Speaking of prices, Leopard is $129. The comparable Vista OS to Leopard is Vista Ultimate DVD, which is $399.95

So what is your problem here?

That too much money for that. I don’t want pay for Windows Vista and Leopard. No way. Price need cut off later. So I can afford low price on Operating System. I will buy Windows Vista Ultimate in year about 2010 to 2012 when Service Pack 2 arrive. I know unlike first time like XP get problems on year 2000 with Service Pack(SP) 1. I want SP2 or higher to reduce problems like debugger and crash. I will be suffer to wait plan to buy new OS. I don’t need hurry to get it. ;-)

There are a few windows games that work on the mac. you can visit http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/08/03/2051230 and read more about them. The developers are working on that, but as at now, I think you will need to buy mac version of the game. It is just like buying Adobe Products. If you are on a mac, you buy the mac version. If you are on windows, you buy windows version. By the time you are about to by your new operating system, I will bet you will have to get a new collection of games. As a matter of fact, you will need to buy a new hardware. Save a minimum of $2,000 for that move if you want to do it.

From what I am reading from you, I doubt you have not tested any operating system apart from Windows/Microsoft. Play with Linux, Play with Mac and then come back to me with your feedback. Spend two weeks on each one of them. By the time you come back here, you will be a Mac fan. I have done all that, and I am typing from experience.
