Britney Spears Insists She Was Doing Her Best As A Mother

Britney Spears has slammed her critics, insisting she was doing her best as a mother.

Britney has been granted three monitored visits a week with her two children.

A judge also ordered her to attend parenting classes and take weekly drug and alcohol tests.

Speaking to a US radio station, Britney also lamented how “cruel our world can be”.

Asked by the presenter if she was doing all she could for her children, the star replied, “Oh God yeah. People say what they want at the end of the day, you know in the tabloids and in the magazines. It’s sad how cruel our world can be. At the end of the day … you’ve just got to know in your heart that you’re doing the best you can and that’s basically it.”

But Britney was unclear how often she would see her children.

Kevin’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan said that the custody battle is “a painful thing for him. He has no intention of taking these children out of their mother’s life. We have no doubt that she loves the children immensely and they are bonded with her.”
