Update on Japanese fighter jet fire: Nagoya airport closed indefinitely

Japanese fighter jet explodes in flames, crashed after take-off
Following the news we reported today that a Japanese fighter jet that crashed after take-off and exploded in flames injuring the two crewmen, we have since learned that the airport (Nagoya) where this happened has been closed indefinitely.

Although Mitsubishi are still looking into what happened, the Mitsubishi F-2B which was being taken up on a test flight prior to being delivered to the Japanese air force had the flames extinguished 10 minutes after the crash.

The two crewmen that jumped from the burning fuselage were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
