Critical Illness Cover for your Kids!!

I could think of nothing worse than one of my children suffering from a serious illness it would be every parent’s nightmare. I would never of thought to have critical illness protection for one of my children, but here the outline of the Boxhall family’s storey is explained.
‘Their son Alex was ill and his parents thought that it was just a routine infection. His health rapidly deteriorated and doctors diagnosed that he had suffered a stroke, as Alex was only eight years old at the time he was transferred to Great Ormond Street and through the doctors there it was discovered that he had a clot on his brain. Alex has made a good recovery, but will need behaviour and speech therapy to help in his recovery process’.
I can only imagine the stress that his parents must have been going through but luckily the family had a critical illness policy which covered the whole of the family. This would ease some of the financial burden as often lump sums are paid. This is well worth having a look into and seeing what sort of cover is available for family protection.
