Beers All Round!! for lads serving in Afghanistan and Iraq

This is one of the best things that I have heard yet for our lads who are serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. They all deserve more than a beer.

This message has come from the Commander of the Light Dragoons, he claims that the efforts of the North East soldiers have gone unrecognised. I say give all of the lads a beer. They work really hard and in conditions I would definitely not want to be in.

In my eyes they are all hero’s and do an excellent job, in situations many of us would not want to be in. They go away for 6 months at a time and sometimes it can be longer if they are needed to. With a break of only two weeks in between their tour to see family and friends and dangers they face.
