NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT: Smaller cooler, cheaper than other high-end graphic cards
October 29, 2007 | Filed under Computer Hardware, Computers

The new NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT is smaller, runs cooler, and is much cheaper than any other high end graphics cards on the market. However this does not make the 8800 GT better than any of their rivals. This new graphics card from NVIDIA runs with 100 watts less power than their top of the range graphics card in the 8800-series, although the 8800 GT does have a lower clock speed.
This new card has higher specs than that of the GTS and the GTX, although it has the same stream processor. The graphics card also has a clock speed of 1500MHz, and also a memory frequency of 900MHz.
Expect to see the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT in stores in a few days, with prices from $199 to $249.
