Although the Leica M8 old-style digital camera has been out for about a year now that has not stopped people still wanting to get their hands on one of these, and the camera has made it to number two on the top ten cool stuff. The Leica M8 mixes old chunky styling with all the technology from cameras of today.
The Leica M8 is a Digital Rangefinder camera, and has been 52-years in the making, which is how long ago Leica started making the M series camera. The M8 has a ten megapixel CCD which also has offset microlenses, this helps to reduce vignetting. Like all of the M series cameras the Leica M8 have the solid metal design, the top is made from solid brass with the base being made from magnesium alloy cast.
More people seem to be purchasing products that has old styling, are you one of them, and if so why?
