Is Teresa Palmer Your Wonder Woman?

Over the weekend more casting announcements were made. One of the big announcements was the supposed casting of Wonder Woman in the Justice League of America movie. According to reports, Teresa Palmer may have scored the role.
One of the first things I can hear people scream is; but she’s blonde?! Yes, that’s true but hair can always be dyed right? I’m pretty certain they wouldn’t make Wonder Woman blonde, it would be an outrage!
Teresa Palmer was one of many hopefuls during the mass auditions a few weeks ago. At just 21 years old, Palmer was the youngest oh the hopefuls. Her publicity materials have listed her as 5’ 5¾ inches, which is really quite short compared to the 6’3” modern day Wonder Woman.
Teresa Palmer isn’t quite who I expected to play Wonder Woman. She was good in both December Boys and The Grudge 2 but other than that I don’t think she is a big enough name to carry the role.
Of course, we can take some solace in the fact that this isn’t 100% confirmed by Warner Bros but looking at past hopefuls for the role makes me wonder if the studio will do the film justice. It looks a little teen titans-ish at the moment which I don’t think is the direction many fans want the film to go in.

Teresa Palmer is definitely NOT Wonder Woman. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is a much better choice, being taller and better looking. But more important I think is that Mary Elizabeth actually feels something for the part and respects the history behind the character.
No Way! Wonder Woman should be played by Mary E. Winstead. Amazon women everywhere will offended by Palmer playing Wonder Woman!
Teresa Palmer? I know her personally and her personality is NOTHING like Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman’s character is a humanitarian, kind and compasionate, so I hope if they choose Plamer that she can ‘act’ a role that is opposite her natural ’snob’ attitude.
There is another adelaide based girl, a little older, more lovlier and a brunette. I don’t know her personally, but she was one of top 5 picked in some beauty contest a few years back and did modelling work. I think her name was Teri Lee and she certainly looked more Wonder Woman than this girl.
