Fall Out Boy are reportedly planning to make their next album a pop record.

The group’s singer Patrick Stump has claimed that the Chicago band are experimenting more on their fifth album.

He said that “It’s probably going to be a pop record. We’re experimenting with piano, too.”

Patrick has also confirmed that the band were not in the studio at the moment and don’t have plans to record their new LP in the near future.

Fall Out Boy’s last record Infinity on High was released in February this year
