Call of Duty 4: do I buy on Xbox 360 or Sony PS3?

After owning the Xbox 360 since its launch and my brothers 360 getting the red ring of death and then he brought the Sony PS3, I thought I would buy the PS3 as well just over a month ago.
I first got addicted to Warhawk and some other games on the PS3, but a week after Halo 3 came out I have found myself playing Halo 3 90% of the time now.
Now that Call of Duty 4 is coming I have to decide which games console to buy it on, the Xbox 360 or Sony PS3?
Both consoles are great in my eyes, but as I have been back on the 360 and love the chat features it makes me think.
What console will you be buying Call of Duty 4 on?

Devise you’ve heard of least common denominator, right?! That’s like 7th grade material. So how you can’t understand how a multi-platform can look the same on different consoles makes me nervous about our military. What’s a military advisor anyway? Are you a part of the military? Be honest.
Get the 360, better controller, better system, rumble, and an online system that can’t be beat…XBOX LIVE.
Get it for the 360, that’s where the true hardcore gamers are, the best of the best!
Esse, yes I am still on active duty but I have done advisory work for comapnies like Redstorm. Unfortunately they don’t always take you advice.
I also did an interview that is over at xbox.com that was cleared with DA.
BTW, anyone see this:

I have a 360 (This name is my gamertag) but the 360 has user induced lag issue sthat are not as prevalent on the PS3. Better controller? Yes. Better ontrol? Not the same thing. Several titles have surfaced already where re,arks are the control was tighter on the PS3.
Saying the true hardcore gamers are on the 360 when the Playstation brand has a longer history is assumptive, a matter of opinion, and in many cases incorrect. On a game for game basis, I have far more 12 year olds screaming in my ear on Live versus what I encounter on PSN.
BTW, a little bird tells me 2.0 for the PS3 is just around the corner.
which console is better or has better games is not the issue here, so stop flaming at each other for nothing. I am biased, but personally I think Xbox Live is probably better than PSN, and I am also a big fan of the 360 controller, and PS controllers don’t really do it for me, as they have never won an award for them. The descision is entirely up to you, and I don’t know which is cheaper. IMO, go for the 360
u people are crazy(360 fanboys) sony will win this is the same thing that happened with the ps2 it uck its first year around and the compition dreamcast was selling like carzy no one took a chance on dvd that the ps2 had build in but people started to buy it and games came out by three years it was on top it lasted seven yrs and still going strong the ps3 is highly advanced and beats the 360s ass. Developers and publishers and industry analysists already said and keep saying it the ps3 will win in the end because since its new hardware and new everything of course it will be hard to devlop for but they will learn quickly like nauthy dog and ubisoft and make great games and do u think that a next gen game will only fit on 8gbs no lost odessy is very anticipated and it comes on four seperate discs because it cannot fit on one look at heavely sword its audio alone is 10gb they would have to put dual discs to fit it on the 360s discs and black(next gen) is on ps3 too.

Well the fact is most PS3 and 360 games do look the same with only minor differences. Framerate has been a big issue on the PS3 but I trust that IW has done a good job.
Nice job of find issues in a Beta build. It’s Beta for a reason. Do you really think IW wouldn’t have invested time in polishing the title? Do you think a PS3 beta build would contain no flaws? Polish is pretty much all that goes on in the final stages of the project. I expect improvements.
Fall Update isn’t too far way, good luck with that 2.0.1.6 business.
Quit your crying devise. So your console didn’t get the best version this time. Boo effing hoo, you sound like a nancy boy. Now you know how PS3 owners felt. Get used to it. As developers continue to learn the PS3 and parallel processing, this will happen more often. GRAW on the PS3 with it’s hardware physics and eye candy already outclases the 360 version. It isn’t the first time and it won’t be the last. The forecast looks rough…better get an umbrella.
You can get all emo if you want but if this is that upsetting then all I can say is wear some body armor and get an MC-4. You have a lot of buildings left to hurtle your corpse from. You are in for a rough ride. Those whipping days are past. Even Peter Moore stated this to be true.
Yes it was a beta build but most of the graphical settings were locked in the beta. That wasn’t the purpose of the test but rather to look at the net code and evaluate game balance. I didn’t have to look hard for that issue, and it wasn’t the only graphical problem.
There has been something of an unofficial embargo on these comparison reviews. Other than Dailygamer, IW was careful to not let people see the two versions side by side. You better get a box of Kleenex. Once the reviews start rolling, you are going to have along week.

Everything you just said is complete crap. Time to rethink your life, solder.
I don’t know why but after reading this thread i sat on my xbox with no pants on.
