Call of Duty 4
After owning the Xbox 360 since its launch and my brothers 360 getting the red ring of death and then he brought the Sony PS3, I thought I would buy the PS3 as well just over a month ago.

I first got addicted to Warhawk and some other games on the PS3, but a week after Halo 3 came out I have found myself playing Halo 3 90% of the time now.

Now that Call of Duty 4 is coming I have to decide which games console to buy it on, the Xbox 360 or Sony PS3?

Both consoles are great in my eyes, but as I have been back on the 360 and love the chat features it makes me think.

What console will you be buying Call of Duty 4 on?

“You are either 7 years old or a retard. Possibly both. The upcoming lineup for the 360 is far stronger than for the 360. There are also 99 exclusives released or due to be released which is far more than on the 360.”

    go back to school dumbass!!

and by the way, DELAYED- this is what you will get!! haha and mgs4 will come to the 360! say it is not so all you want. hideo is spending too much money for this and will want to capitolize on the shitload of 360`s already in circulation! have you even played psn? i have and it dont even compare with live!! you are an idiot fanboy for sony. you get what you pay for, unless you buy a ps3!! haha

fanboys rock!! sony is the best and thats all it is!! we will get halo now!! the ps3 is true 1080p unlike the 360`s attempt(only 1080i) the ps3 is way better than the 360 because it has the cell! and its black! all you xbox fans just wait untill next year and youll be buying the lowly 40g ps3. you should have gotten on the bandwagon and bought the 60g. drakes fortune looks way better than anything 360 will ever put out, in fact drake looks better than any game in history! the graphics are on a whole different level! the faces look like photo real! cod4 even looks 10 times better ion the ps3. after next year the 360 is dead, JUST WAIT!!!

Jason Booth knows nothing. He’s just a hater and needs to go STFU!! All PS3 Game developers need to do is learn how to use the PS3s power and push all of its game to its full potential. Then the games will look 99% better than XBox Crappy. Being realistic that’s why I didn’t say 100% better. XBox Crappy does have ok graphics. XBox is just updated version of Sega Genesis. Remember what happened to Sega Genesis? Well, the same this is going to happen to XBox in a few years. Once again, Jason Booth is a hater.

First of all Mr. Luke, lets say that ONE developper is not god. It is an opinion. I am a electronic hardware/Software developper and there is certain processors that I have better result with, not because they are THE best ones but because I am more used to it. PS3 is using new technology and yes it is harder to develop for. No pain, no gain. The xbox is a canned games dedicated pc. The PS3 and the 360 are two different systems that is all.

So if if you own both system, then go rent both, compare and then go with you favorite one.

And don’t forget to have fun because that is what game systems are about !

    @Luke

The site you are referring to is a post from Jason Booth, an ex Harmonix (Guitar Hero and Rock Band) developer, who’s comments have been completely discredited on his own blog.

The post was obviously to grab hits for a poorly performing blog.

None. I’ll buy it for PC.

More Players Online + Better Visuals + Cheaper Product + Community Support and Mods = Win

  8. kn4rf says:

I laugh at people bragging about 1080P

while you play on your sub par resolutions I’ll be rocking the game at 1900×1200 at over 60FPS.

PC again = WIN WIN WIN

This is a no brainer question. The developers of COD4 (there are two teams) said the PS3 version was the better version. So if the devs say its the better version that vetos anybody else really.

Hell EA said MAdden 08 for the 360 is the better version so no one can say the PS3 version is better. If you have the choice get the PS3 version since the Develops said they prefer that version and its the better of the two.

As for people trying to quote John Booth. Before he worked on Rock Band he was an artist, Not a developer. He helped develop for Rock Band and that was his first time developing. He is a newbie in the devs world so he really doesn’t know everything he is talking about.

It would be like me making emblems for Dodge my whole career and then one day stepping up to installing seats on a new model. Then I proclaim the Lamborgini is a pathetic car because only its parts can be used only on Lamborginis. It makes no sense to listen to this guy, he is a nobody and the new place he is starting up is in Direct competition with the Sony PS3 and Home.

Rumble and XBox Live Matchmaking make 360 a clear choice. I have both systems and PS3 has yet to match any 360 compatible release except for Oblivion. I don’t care if it’s harder to develop on or if the fill rate on the PS3 is slower, etc. the bottom line is that the 360 versions have all been better. The SixAxis implementations have all been gimmicky whereas rumble is a VERY important feature to me and I don’t want to wait until next year and pay another $50 to get it on PS3.
