Free Travel Insurance with your Credit Card?

There are around one third of credit card companies offering free travel insurance cover, this seems like a great offer, but the question to be asking is the level of cover enough.
You are always warned to read the small print carefully but in this instance I would take that advice, in order to avoid any problems which you may encounter when travelling abroad.
Three of the problems which have been notice with this free cover is;
1. Policies vary considerably and some are restricted,
2. Policies are not designed to last for several days,
3. Travellers need to ensure that there is enough medical cover provided.
