Ron Paul
Everywhere you look online in the world of politics that has free speech and not controlled sees the majority of web users supporting Ron Paul not only in comments but also in money.

One comment we had from Michael Wagner a little while ago on the “Ron Paul Says: Pay Off The Country’s Mortgage” post, pretty much sums up the peoples opinion.

Michael Wagner’s Comment:
I just took a quiz that was billed as a “political calculator.” I entered my opinions on a long list of issues and the “calculator” returned the result. I agree with Ron Paul on just over 90%. The next nearest candidate was Mike Gravel with 58%. All the other Republicans were way down the list.
I agree with Ron Paul completely on the issue of foreign aid. He is a Constituionalist which means he believes that the Federal government rightly has only those powers expressly listed. Since there is no mention in the Constitution of a power to tax Americans in order to give the money to foreign governments, ALL foreign aid is unconstitutional and illegal. The illegal taking of money from an individual is theft. Our government has been literally stealing from us for decades, and giving the money to dictators in foreign countries. It is disgusting. Ron Paul is the only candidate with the courage to end it completely.
And Ron Paul is absolutely correct in saying that the country is mortgaged. He’s not talking about the current “mortgage crisis” that is affecting the banks. He means the WHOLE COUNTRY is mortgaged. We already owe $9 TRILLION to the banks and to foreign countries. And that says nothing about the $50 trillion in unfunded liabilities of our “entitlement” programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, etc. In short, the government of the US in now in debt by more than the total wealth of the country. We owe more than we are able to pay. We are bankrupt. And still the idiots in Washington borrow billions every day to pay for a war we cannot win. This is insanity. Only Ron Paul wants to put an end to the madness and get the country back on a sound financial footing.
The choice is simple. Ron Paul or the end of the US as we know it. There are no other options.

Unfortunately, Mr. Wagner is somewhat mistaken in his analysis.
The U.S. ‘as we knew it’ has already vanished with the totalitarian state established by the cronies who have violated the Constitution out of existence.
Ron Paul does not represent a chance to save it,
but rather our only hope to restore the Constitution to its
rightful place as the basis for all our government’s actions.
    .
I pray he is not too late to achieve this.

Folks like “TheOneLaw” need to relax a little bit and tone down their shrill comments. You’re not attracting new people to the campaign, but coming across as what Thomas Sowell would call “sanctimonious”. The image rubs people wrong and distracts them from the message. We are still the United States, and to suggest otherwise is just silly. We have our rights, they are enforced. We have a process to change things, which we are employing right now. Things are changing. If the country has slid from its bearings, it is our responsibility collectively to right it.

“My country–if right to be kept right, if wrong to be made right. My country, right or wrong”, remember?

“TheOneLaw”, I take Representative Paul’s stance on this matter, and share his great respect and appreciation for both the rejuvenative powers of our form of government and of the populace here. People are, by and large, very decent and honest, and we get a little better every day. We’ve been through worse as a nation, and we’ll weather this storm too. I’m a precinct captain for Paul’s campaign in Minneapolis. Thank you for the article, Mr. Wagner.

Well said. I am 56, been a working man for four decades, have been a democrat all my life and this Paul character is the greatest statesmen I have ever seen. He is honest, forthright and tells the truth - the real truth.

The guy who wrote this knows the score too. Just cause some of us don’t have phDs doesn’t mean we can’t tell our country is in trouble. Real trouble. It is about time that the folks on TV let the rest of us learn about the only man who can save us, instead of trying to push their own candidates down our throats.

I have read the daily paper every day for 40 something years. I don’t see anything but lies in there anymore. We “sheep” as some people have put it, ain’t as easily herded as you think.

The Ron Paul is the real deal. You can tell from the way he talks. The man is honest. I don’t agree with everything he says, but he is honest. I like that.

I don’t have much, but I am giving him some of my savings. I have never donated to a politician before. Never saw a reason to. I wish I could give him more.

And I aint no nut, I don’t believe in little green men, or conspiracies everywhere you turn. I am just a hard working man with a family, house, and a dog. (But his name is not Rover.)

Ron Paul has my vote, not only because he is honest, and has integrity, but also because I agree with him on over 90 percent of the issues at hand. He is the only Hope this Nation has to survive and be free again. He is the only Republican Candidate that can beat the Democrats and the Neo-conservatives.

  5. Ray says:

About 15 years ago the ( state ) government decided that my family needed its assistance and forced itself into my life using my children as hostages. Post that era of my life and like many others having experienced similar circumstances, I became a libertarian, but still some ideals were too liberal such as open borders. However, with RP I agree with nearly every issue, especially foreign and monetary policy. Most Americans are clueless and spoon fed MSM rubbish and then think they know what’s happening, when they are truly IGNORANT. Although they know sports stats and who Amrican Idol is.. It may be too late, but the only hope at all is that RP wins the rep nomination. The US is already nothing more than a corporation and considers us all employees, therefore being able to nullify any constitutional limitations since contracts supercede constitutionla limitations on government. We have unknowingly waived nearly all out constitutional rights by accepting government entitlements in some way shape or form. Even reduced school lunches place an obligation on you for acceptance, but the worse is that we accept and use fiat currency and are bound by doing so. Read learn and study what has happened and how it happened. I will vote for Paul and continue giving him all the money I can afford to give.

My life changed on March 2, 2007 when I saw Dr. Paul on YouTube for the first time.

Never having been political at all, I was instantly captivated by message of Constitutional Liberty and was finally aware of the lies, deciet, and corruption pervasive in “main stream Politics”. Now I see everything crystal clear and can’t understand why some people just don’t “get it”.

I’m not afraid of terrorists in the caves of Afghanistan, or a small army in Iran - or even if Iran had Nukes.

We can make America strong again by enforcing border control, implementing constitutional sound money, and restoring Liberty to the individual.

Ron Paul is my guy, do or die.

  7. Alex says:
