How many times would you have to “fail” before finally giving up? as winners never quit and quitters never win.
Consider the following case history of one particular individual;
- Failed in business, aged 21
- Defeated in legislative race, aged 22
- Failed in business again, aged 24
- Overcame death of his sweetheart, aged 26
- Had a nervous breakdown, aged 27
- Lost congressional race aged 34
- Lost congressional race, aged 36
- Lost senatorial race, aged 45
- Failed attempt to become vice president, aged 47
- Lost senatorial race, aged 49
Was elected President of the United States, aged 52
The man’s name was Abraham Lincoln…….
