Mr. Modchips
Since 2002 Neil Stanley Higgs (owner of Mr. Modchips) has been distributing and selling illegally chipped games consoles which have apparently made him over £1 million pounds.

Now the 39-year-old who lives in the Bristol area (UK) has been convicted and found guilty of 26 offences.

These offences include 3 counts of “advertising, supplying and selling modification chips” which have given gamers the ability to play illegally copied games on their consoles.

While many gamers want to back up their games because they have had many discs damaged, there are also many gamers who like to buy copied games which of course are illegal.

Neil Stanley Higgs days were numbered when investigators from “Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association” found he was selling illegal chips on his website.

Higgs has now made an appeal, so things are not over yet.
