Green Day
I remember a discussion a few weeks back that my cousin and a friend were having over which Music band was the biggest, one thought that Green Day are the biggest band ever.

With so many bands around and people supporting 100’s of different bands, we all have a nice choice of music…but there can only be only that is the BIGGEST BAND.

So let us know in the comments which band is your favorite and who you think is the world’s biggest band ever.

Surely it’s The Beatles or another and not Green Day.

Green Day? You gotta be kidding me! Has anyone here ever heard of N.W.A., The Beastie Boys, A Tribe Called Quest, Sly and the Family Stone, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Wu-Tang Clan or De La Soul? And yes, Public Enemy and Run-DMC are great picks as well. The Beatles are most certainly number one, but Green Day? Come on!!!!!!

ermmm…..I used to listen Green Day a lot but I don’t think they are the best ever, although they are considered one of the most succesfull bands in punk rock ( of course with Sex Pistols )

The Beatles ermmm…. they used to be but they are not anymore….

I think that Iron Maiden has a History on Metal so they are the best ever. Every song is great, every solo is great, every album is great, all the lyrics are great…everythin about Iron Maiden is great……I’m the biggest fan of Iron Maiden ever and they are the best band ever.

Here’s the list of number of results returned by google. Now you tell me who is the biggest band.

    “Beatles” - 55,800,000
    “U2″ - 47,000,000
    “Rolling Stones” - 9,890,000
    “Pink Floyd” - 8,420,000
    “Green Day” - 6,570,000
    “The Who” - 6,550,000
    “Led Zeppelin” - 4,940,000
    “Iron Maiden” - 3,000,000
    “Public Enemy” - 2,280,000

Look up anybody you want. Only U2 comes close to the Beatles and that’s probably because it’s also the name of a spy plane as well as only 2 letters that probably occurs millions of times having nothing to do with the band.

it is green day, no doubt about it

Here are the number of results that Google returned for Britney Spears. I guess that means she is almost as talented as U2 and the Beatles. Yeah, right!

    Britney Spears-44,900,000

  6. Lynn says:

Elvis Presley only came up with 4,880,000 results from Google. Yeah that Elvis, he sure didn’t to a thing to change the face of music. What a hack!

    (Sarcasm intended.)

  7. LOOLOO says:

  8. Joseph says:

Green Day is and always be my all time favorite band, and even though i believe Green Day has the potential to be the greatest band ever and they have completly changed music, my second favorite band, the Beatles will never be forgotten.
