I’ve freely expressed my excitement for the movie Juno. The cast is great, the story is amazing and the release date is.. coming sooner than expected! That’s right Juno’s release date was originally scheduled as December 15th but, due to an overwhelming advance buzz, it has been moved up 9 days. Juno will now hit theaters in New York and Los Angeles on Wednesday December 5.
The official plot synopsis:
‘JUNO stars Ellen Page as the title character, a whip-smart teen confronting an unplanned pregnancy by her classmate Bleeker (Michael Cera). With the help of her best friend Leah (Oliva Thirlby), Juno finds her unborn child a “perfect” set of parents: an affluent suburban couple, Mark and Vanessa (Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner), longing to adopt. Luckily, Juno has the total support of her parents (JK Simmons and Allison Janney) as she faces some tough decisions, flirts with adulthood and ultimately figures out where she belongs.’
I’m so looking forward to seeing this film, after being a teenage mom myself, I’m pretty sure I’m going to love this film.
(P.S. my story isn’t exactly like Juno’s! I didn’t offer my baby up for adoption and I was slightly older.)
