Rupert Evans To Play Superman In Justice League?

There is a new candidate to play Superman in the upcoming Justice League of America Movie. According to sources, Rupert Evans may have nabbed the role at a casting session three weeks ago in SoHo in London.
The 30-year-old British actor is probably best known for his role as a rookie agent in John Mysers in Guillermo Del Toro’s Hellboy. He has also appeared in a few television movies and appeared in some tv guest spots. Is he ‘big’ enough to play Superman?
At only 5’10” he’s almost half-foot shorter than Superman’s traditional height. Hmm, not a great choice - I’m still backing Tom Welling. He’s done a fantastic job in Smallville and knows the character inside out. Not only that, he’s tall, handsome and has a huge following of fans and his buns of steel will inevitably draw flocks of people to the cinema.
