Nintendo DS with 1seg tuner broadcast digital TV service technology: Should Sony PSP worry

If you thought that the Nintendo DS was popular as it was get ready for even more of these portable game systems to sell as they will now have a great now add-on in the way of the 1seg, for those of you who do not know what this is it is a tuner broadcast digital TV service technology. With this in mind this is certainly going to cause a major headache for the Sony PSP.

OK you can tell by the images that the 1seg is not as sleek and slender as the tuner on the Sony PSP, but the Japanese are very loyal to the Nintendo DS and this add-on will be an obsession for them. The 1seg dongle will cost about ¥6800, that about $60 in our money, the tuner will go on sale in Japan on November 20.
