Bank of America Layoffs: 3000 Jobs Lost
By: Daniel Chubb | October 25, 2007 | Leave a CommentThe Bank of America has announced that over 3000 jobs are going to be lost as the banking giant cuts back across the world.
The Bank of American layoffs included 150 jobs in just one town and this news has got remaining employees worried for the security of their jobs. They are not alone as Mid America Bank and Countrywide Financial are also cutting jobs.
Apparently the Bank of America layoffs are mostly related to the Bank of America global corporate investment banking unit and this comes after the Bank of America announced that income from that investment unit was down from last year.
Do you think that this is the last of the job cuts, or is this the beginning of more Bank of America layoffs?
