Billy Bob Thornton Joins Cast Of Eagle Eye

It has been reported that Billy Bob Thornton has joined the already impressive cast of Eagle Eye. Thornton will join Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan and Rosario Dawson in the film which originated from an idea of the legendary Steven Spielberg.

The movie, directed by D.J Caruso, follows the story of a teenage slacker (LaBeouf) whose twin brother dies mysteriously. When he makes his way home for his brother’s funeral, he finds himself and his mother (played by Monaghan) arrested on suspicion of terrorist activities. They are then forced to take part in a political assassination and have to battle to free themselves.

Although Billy Bob Thornton’s role is as of yet unspecified, it’s great to see him back where he belongs, in hard hitting movies like this one - not cheap crappy comedies like “Mr. Woodcock”.
