F1 race stewards dash Lewis Hamilton’s hopes of becoming F1 world champion
It was a very sad day for me watching the F1 on the TV yesterday as I could see Lewis Hamilton’s hopes of becoming a World Champion disappear, it my fear were correct as he could not recover from an early gearbox problem. In the end it was Kimi Raikkonen who was crowned the Formula One Drivers Champion. For a brief while after the race it did look as though Lewis could still take the title, as race stewards was investigating the three cars that finished ahead of Hamilton had a very high temperature of the fuel that was used in their cars.

Sky News reports that the Race Stewards deiced not to impose any penalties on those three cars, so the FIA still confirm that Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen is still the2007 F1 World Champion. McLaren have said that they will appeal this decision.

I am a McLaren fan all the way and did want Lewis to win, but I do not want him to win in a way like this, many of you know that I hate Ferrari but nobody can take it way that Kimi deserves to win as he is a great driver and he has lost out twice before. I think that he will be a great F1 World Champion and I would like to say well done.
