Dell has announced that they are to sell their personal computers in 1,400 Staples stores, Reuters have also reported that Dell will also sell monitors, printers and also ink supplies. This is just the latest move from Dell that sees the company selling their products for the first time in 23 years in stores instead of direct to the customer.
It seems that Dell has timed this perfectly as HP has taken over Dell as the top PC maker, Staples is the largest office supply retailer in the world, so this will help to boast Dell sales. Dell are now selling their PC products in Staples, Wal-Mart Inc, which means that Dell computer products are now available in over 10,000 outlets.
