Anthony Hopkins Cast In The Wolf Man

MTV have confirmed that Anthony Hopkins has been cast in Universal’s revamp of The Wolf Man. Hopkins is reportedly playing Sir John Talbot, the father of Lawrence Talbot (Benicio Del Toro - swoon!) who becomes afflicted with the curse of the werewolf.

Mark Romanek will be directing the movie with Del Toro producing. Filming will start in December with a release date of February 13th 2009.
