Halo 3 or Gears of War: what is the better Microsoft Xbox 360 game

Many would have to agree that the best games are still on the Microsoft Xbox 360, and two of the best games for this games console have to be Gears of War and Halo 3. The thing that many people have asked myself is which of the two games is better.
I know that many people out there will be saying that I am an idiot and these games are very different, but I beg to differ. Gears of War has already a head start with gamers as the game has now been out for almost a year, while Halo 3 has only been around for about a month now. But there has to be something that gamers like about commanding Master Chief as in the month that the game has been out Microsoft Xbox 360 games console sales have doubled in the month of September.
Ok you can tell that the way that I am writing this post that I have already made my mind up and you will be right it has to be Halo 3, Sorry Gears of War.
So what do you think is the better game Halo 3 or Gears of War?

I think the single player for Gears of War is better than Halo 3’s, but multiplayer Halo 3 beats Gears so bad, it makes it the overall better game.

Gears of War is way better than Halo 3. I like Halo 3 but Gears of War is way more action packed.Gears of War is supposed to be rated R, Halo 3 is not scary,and certainly does not have that little splash of humor that the COG brings to the game! It also is not gorey enough to match Gears of War’s standards. I know Gears of War is not as good as Halo 3 on x box live but half the people that have an x box 360 don’t even have live, like me. Gears of War is more amusing than Halo 3 because it’s fun to shoot up ugly Locusts that come out the ground.
i say if u want to talk about it i think gears is better cause they have like a better story line but dont get me wrong i still play halo 3 but i say gears is better
luke halo online is off the hook but so is gears i dont really know lets talk when halo reacon and gears 2 come out
