Halo 3 or Gears of War: what is the better Microsoft Xbox 360 game
Many would have to agree that the best games are still on the Microsoft Xbox 360, and two of the best games for this games console have to be Gears of War and Halo 3. The thing that many people have asked myself is which of the two games is better.
I know that many people out there will be saying that I am an idiot and these games are very different, but I beg to differ. Gears of War has already a head start with gamers as the game has now been out for almost a year, while Halo 3 has only been around for about a month now. But there has to be something that gamers like about commanding Master Chief as in the month that the game has been out Microsoft Xbox 360 games console sales have doubled in the month of September.
Ok you can tell that the way that I am writing this post that I have already made my mind up and you will be right it has to be Halo 3, Sorry Gears of War.
So what do you think is the better game Halo 3 or Gears of War?

Gears by far
Gears has much better combat, graphics, and gore. Halo3 has better online game options. I love both, but I have just went back to Gears with all my friends, because the jumping strafing thing gets old quickly in Halo.

Gears is a better game. Its also out on PC which makes a complete joke out of the term ‘360 exclusive’.
Gears of War dominate. Playing Halo gets more boring with the every shot and every jump (compared to GoW).
I like Both but Gears has some issues that make playing it not fun sometime. There is a big issue with Host advantage. It is so obvious that sometimes it just stupid to even bother playing if the Host is always going to get the advantage. This becomes even more obvoius when playing Annex. But both have a good campaign even though I believe that gears makes thoes Big enemies way to easy to Kill. Just getting a Hammer of Dawn is to simple. PC get to al least fight the big whatever it is. As for online Halo 3 gives more game options more game modes more players because we always have a broblem when there is more then 8 people and others want to join in on Gears. Gears 2 is what I’m wait for now. But Gears give more BANG excitement in its’ game play. It will get the adrinalin pumping.
i dont really care about that game, and halo is shit,i like battlefield 1942 more than halo 3
Halo is a better game over all and that will be shown when people keep playing this game for years to come or until Halo 4. Bioshock came out in August (by the way the bioshock campaign is better than both gears of what and halo3) and nobody even talks about it anymore. Halo just has that kind of presence and it is rightly so. Think about everything that Makes Halo 3 great. Matchmaking, bungie.net, custom game types with limitless options and the campaign. These things make Halo 3 one of the deepest games of all time. Game of the year anybody? I think so.
gears is so much better then halo because of all the blood and gore, but the one thing that you can never get tired of in Gears is the magnificent headshot sound. While on the other hand H3 is a great game but fuck the bunting in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111
id have to say gears of war is beta by far! iv played both gears of war and halo and the game play in gears of war is 100 to 1 compared to halo 3!!!!!!
I THINK THAT GEARS IS WAY BETTER THAN HALO3
Gears is an awesome game, there very different titles. Halo 3 was unbelievable but the campaign had nothing new, very dissapointed, while Gears had a great campaign or at least it was new and different. Halo wins in multiplayer, but i would rather have a great campaign.
gears of war is way better…getting head shots on gears of war is awsome
