Who makes the better router Belkin or D-Link?

I and my cousin have been having this argument for some time now, I have always liked Belkin routers and so did my cousin but he have jumped ship now and is now a D-Link fan. He was having some problems with his old Belkin router so he purchased a D-Link as it had a better range, but I said why you didn’t just get a higher spec Belkin with a further range.
I did have a look at the control panel on the D-Link, and I must say it left me a bit confused as there are so many settings that you can change, and I wonder if they are all needed. The Belkin however has a very easy to use control panel, and if I ever have to set up a wireless network for people I always advise them to purchase a Belkin router.
Who do you think makes the better router, Belkin or D-link?

I’ve used both brands. I had preferred DLink since they have worked reliably for me, but I contacted Tech Support (offshored) and reported issues. They were unable to correct nor did they correct the firmware. Example, a later revision of the firmware added additional security features, but it also broke Xbox Live compatibility. Dlink has good product, but poor Tech Support.
