Apple iPod Classic1.0.2 update causes disk to spin constantly
I am a little worried now as I have just learnt from Apple Discussions Forum that people who have updated their iPod Classic to the new 1.0.2 update will notice that their disk will spin constantly. The problem with this is if your drive is constantly spinning then that is a sure way to kill your drive.

This problem is more serious than the recent freezing issues that have now been fixed; the first thing that you will notice is just how quick your battery will drain. If you are the owner of an Apple iPod Classic and have not yet updated to the new 1.0.2 update, then I would hold off for a while until Apple have been able to understand what is going wrong.

Have you experienced any problems with your iPod Classic?
