Trick Or Treat: Dark Knight Surprise For Halloween?

The Dark Knight viral website, WhySoSerious.com has been updated just in time for Halloween. The site now has a jack-o-lantern with a huge grin which resembles the bat symbol. So, is it just a Halloween treat?

Well, the exact same pumpkin image appears on the cover of the Jeph Loeb/Time Sale graphic novel The Long Halloween, which was one of the inspirations for The Dark Knight. Not only that, it’s a favourite of current Batman star Christian Bale and was the novel that featured the origin of two-face which is likely to be in the Christopher Nolan film.

So does this mean we’re going to have a Dark Knight treat for Halloween? Or is it just one big trick?
