Sprint to launch the entry-level Sanyo S1 cell phone
As always Sprint always seems to bring products out just at the right time, and this is exactly what they have done with the entry-level Sanyo S1 cell phone. Many phones have gone in the direction of more is better, but not Sprint with the Sanyo S1; they have kept things to a minimum.

So many people who want a cell phone just want the basics; after all it is just for making calls. According to Engadget Mobile the Sanyo S1 will feature a dual-band CDMA radio, Bluetooth 2.0 and also a speaker phone and that is your lot.

This very thin candybar phone will cost $220 retail from Radio Shack, if you was to have the phone on a one year contract then you will pay Sprint $95, and on a two year contract then the phone will be free.
