Lost Planet officially coming to the Sony PS3 in 2008

We all know how will Lost Planet did so will in game sales on the Microsoft Xbox 360 in North America, it seemed only a matter of time before Sony wanted a piece of the action. There have been many rumors that the games were set to make an appearance on the PS3, but as I said they were only rumors.

Well great news all you Lost Planet fans as at the recent London Gamers’ Day event, Capcom announced that the game will indeed be heading towards the Playstation 3 something in 2008. Games Radar has given some details about the game, Lost Planet will support 16-player online over the Playstation Network (PSN), we will also be treated to all the bonus characters from the PC version and extra downloadable content from what we were used to from the Xbox 360 version.
