Karl Urban To Play Bones In JJ Abrams’ Star Trek?

It seems like years ago that casting rumours first surfaced for Star Trek. With the casting now all but complete there is still one major question remaining: who will play the role of Enterprise doctor and good friend of Captain Kirk, Dr Leonard ‘Bones’ McCoy? Rumours shooting around the world wide web seem to be saying the Bones will be played by Karl Urban.

Urban could be a good choice, he’s only six years older than the movie’s Captain Kirk (played by Chris Pine) but seems far more mature. This would suit perfectly as Bones and Scotty were the old boys of the group.

Of course, this is not confirmed but with so many sources claiming that Urban will be playing Bones, it certainly makes you wonder.
