Angelina Jolie Strikes A Naked Pose On Beowulf Billboard

The MPAA are fickle people. They tend to over-regulate movie advertising, with red-band trailers are a prime example. So, it puzzles me to find a billboard for the upcoming Beowulf (PG-13) clearly showing a side shot of Angelina Jolie naked. You can totally see her boob!

Of course, it’s a computer animated Angelina but does it matter? Beowulf is a violent film and its rating of PG-13 has been questioned. The scene where Angelina Jolie naked (bar some strategically placed mud) has been seen by mainly everyone.

So, what I put to you is this: Is it ok to advertise a nude scene from a PG-13 movie on a public billboard?

NO! I don’t find it appropriate one bit. This picture of Angelina is fine in the movie but unacceptable for public viewing. They couldn’t pick another movie pic? How could Angelina consent to this being the super mom she is? Makes me doubt her motives. This is a cheap shot of the movie and the actress and I wanted to see this movie, but now I’ve changed my mind. It’s a principle thing I guess. Sorry my money is going on another movie instead.

Lucy’ says the Beowulf billboard “clearly shows a side shot of Angelina Jolie naked. You can totally see her boob!”. Well Angelina’s left bosom appears covered to me so why blame the MPAA for hypocracy. If said bosom was naked there would have been more than one remark on this site and enough moralistic steam to accelerate atmospheric warming.
