Reservoir being scoured for missing Madeleine McCann: Gerry and Kate welcome new search

Specialist police in Portugal said that they have scoured a reservoir; the divers were hunting for missing girl Madeleine McCann this news comes as the hunt has now intensified as Paulo Rebelo now heads the investigation. Parents Gerry and Kate have said that this new search is welcome.

The Barragem da Bravura reservoir where police divers are searching is 15 miles away from the Algarve resort where young Madeleine went missing, police will also start to search a 10-mile area around Praia da Luz. Portuguese police are also set to search a three-mile stretch of coastline and beach area near where Madeleine went missing.
