Jessica Alba In The Eye Teaser Trailer

The new teaser trailer for The Eye, starring Jessica Alba, has been released by Lionsgate. In the film, Alba plays an accomplished concert violinist who has been blind since a childhood accident. Sydney Wells (Alba) undergoes a double corneal transplant, which restores her sight.

Sydney then starts to see unexplainable shadowy and frightening images which seem to be haunting her. Her family and friends start to think she’s insane, but Sydney is convinced that her anonymous eye donor has opened the door to a terrifying world only she can see.

The film is directed by David Moreau and Xavier Palud and is based on the 2002 Hong Kong horror film. The original film, by The Pang Brothers, is highly recommended and I’m sure the American remake is not as good but the trailer still managed to freak me out big time!
