Months of rumour and speculation have all led to this: George Miller is currently casting Justice League of America. According to reports, Miller has been in La since Saturday auditioning young actors in a marathon casting session which ran from Saturday through to Monday.
Miller has chosen to audition young actors because he wants them to be able to grow into their roles over the course of several movies. Yep, you read correctly - SEVERAL MOVIES! I can’t wait for this movie as you probably have noticed but the thought of it turning into a franchise scares me a little. However, if the movie is great then I’m sure I’d be more than happy for more to be made.
It has been reported that around 40 actors are set to test for JLA. These actors include:
Adam Brody (The O.C.), Joseph Cross (Running With Scissors), D.J Cotrona (Windfall), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Grindhouse), Michael Angarano (Sky High), Teresa Palmer (Wolf Creek), Max Thieriot (Jumper), Common (the rapper) and Minka Kelly, Adrianne Palicki and Scott Porter (all from Friday Night Lights)
I really like the idea or Adam Brody in the JLA movie, I think he’d be awesome in it (and not just because he’d look amazing in tights).
George Miller is set to make some tough decisions by mid-week which means it won’t be long until we’ll know who’ll be playing Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern and the Martian Manhunter!
Who would you have in your ideal cast for a Justice League Of America movie?

What a mistake to make this movie!the perception with respects to the Dark Knight and possible Man of Steel movies will be tainted by these movies. They’ ve got something great with the batman franchise and Im convinced that The Dark Knight will be the best comic book movie to hit the screens since the Spiderman movies. And the Man of Steel movie will be a drastic improvement over Returns. Now why and what sense does it make to produce a Justice League movie and possibly ruin the other two resurrected franchises.
Batman needs to be older, seasoned and a veteran crimefighter. Superman needs to be an older established, big blue boy scout. He needs to look rock solid.
Believe it or not; after watching doom today, here is what I see. I think THE ROCK can pull off superman, big, imposing, solid. But someone along those lines. He needs to look powerful.
I also think that Karl Urban can pull off batman. odd. I know.
Wonder Woman needs to be an amazon. She needs to be imposing and a knockout. 5′ nothing, won’t do it. This could probably be the hardest role to cast.
Flash. Ryan Reynolds. Younger, smart aleck. good.
Martian Manhunter, I agree with a lot of other folks. Laurence Fishburn.
Green Lantern, not shure on this, but there has to be a backstory that includes the Hal Jordan character. He is the Green Lantern.
Please don’t go the OC/WB Route. Their ages might be right, but they just can’t pull off the role of imposing, ass-kicking crimefighters. Imposing being the key word.
